About Me
I currently teach 6th grade in Holt, Michigan. I actually teach at the same middle school I attended as a 6th and 7th grader! I come from a family of all girls, including our four golden retrievers.

Education
I was born to bleed green and be a Michigan State Spartan so both my undergraduate and graduate degrees are from MSU! I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education in 2011 focusing on Elementary Education with a mathematics major and teaching students of other languages minor. I am currently working towards a degree in the Master of Arts in Education program with a concentration in mathematics and science. I plan to graduate in the Summer of 2016.
I love spending time up north with my family and friends. I also enjoy playing and coaching softball. I have played softball for over 22 years and have been an assistant coach for the Holt Varsity team for 4 years. I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan! It was the first book to hook me and turned me into a reader. I love visiting Hogwarts and Diagon Alley in Florida and beg my boyfriend to take me back every year!
